Designed for most all locations and environments where remote monitoring and control are required, Remote Connect—satellite data transceiver combines and advanced processing platform, satellite modem, and integrated antennas to reliably meet your M2M communications and monitoring needs. The Remote Connect satellite terminal connects your remote scientific instruments, data logger, or computers via a satellite network to your headquarters.
Designed specifically for harsh environments
Housed in a rugged outdoor enclosure, Remote Connect—satellite data transceiver is ideally suited for the most challenging M2M data communication tasks (machine-to-machine) and operates between -40°C to +70° (-40°F to +158°F).
Remote Connect is ideal for monitoring both static and mobile assets. Applications include: heavy equipment, vehicles, generators, wells, reservoirs, weather monitoring sites, pollution detection systems, security systems, pipelines, communication systems, and towers.
Easy to install and configure
The Remote Connect—satellite transceiver is IP based and incorporates a wide array of input and output interfaces to connect with virtually any monitoring equipment. Both a direct Ethernet interface to the Internet and a serial to TCP/ UDP/IP translation through the serial port are available. More sophisticated custom interfacing can also be accommodated using the built-in scripting capabilities. The communication interfaces available to connect your Remote Terminal Server (RTU) with your back-end server are optimized to respond quickly while minimizing both power consumption and remote site resources. The Remote Connect, with a number of built-in applications covering a wide variety of typical communication needs, is easy to program.

The unit is easy to program locally through a serial port connected to your intelligent instrument (e.g., data logger, computer, etc.) or via satellite data connection.
