M2M core technology

This well-engineered M2M (machine to machine) data transceiver represents Nupoint’s core technology and has proven to be the most effective solution for moving data from scientific instruments—such as data loggers, environmental sensors (weather, snow or water level sensor)—computers, cameras, and more via satellite from remote locations.

Stand-alone or embedded in Nupoint systems

Remote Connect technology is available as a standalone unit in thee IO options (see tech specs) and is also embedded into all Nupoint solutions, including Remote Viewer and Remote Detect.

Highly effective technology

Carefully engineered to ensure reliable performance in the most inhospitable of environments and can operate between -40°C to +70°C (-40°F to +158°F). Remote Connect technology is extremely power efficient. Built on a duplex system, it sleeps between taking readings. It can be powered by battery or solar panels.

What satellite networks does the Remote Connect technology work on?

Remote Connect technology use the Globalstar Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite network. This network offers reliable, cost-effective satellite communications over their proven network. This LEO satellite network—eliminate the need to point and manage an antenna.
